Goals were at a premium in the late afternoon kick-offs in Ligue 1 McDonald's, with just four goals across three games, all of which had ramifications at both ends of the table. We take you through the results.

Auxerre 0-0 Paris FC

A point, just a point, but a precious one for both Paris FC and Auxerre, with the latter exiting the automatic relegation places as a result of it. After Nantes' defeat to Lyon on Saturday, Christophe Pélissier's side knew that a draw would lift them to 16th, and they did just that as they held another relegation candidate, Paris FC, to a goalless draw at the Stade de l'Abbé Descamps.

It is a second successive clean sheet and a second successive draw in Ligue 1 McDonald's for L'AJA.

For Les Parisiens, it was a third successive draw in Ligue 1 McDonald's, and Christophe Gilli's side are now unbeaten in their last four as they build the gap between themselves and the relegation zone.

Le Havre 2 -1 Strasbourg

Le Havre were very much in control at the half-hour mark. Facing an in-form Strasbourg side that competed with PSG last weekend (1-2) and who knocked Monaco out of the Coupe de France in midweek (3-1), Les Ciel et Marines opened the scoring through Stephan Zagadou (26')

Didier Digard's side then received another boost just three minutes later when Ismael Doukouré was sent off for Gary O'Neil's side (29'), but despite their numerical disadvantage, Le Racing heaved themselves back into the game thanks to the in-form Martial Godo. No player has scored more goals than the Englishman in Ligue 1 McDonald's in 2026 (4).

But despite Godo's decisiveness, Strasbourg would fall behind early in the second half thanks to a goal from Issa Soumaré (54'). It is a timely return to form for Le Havre, with Auxerre, Paris FC, and Metz all picking up points this weekend. That is HAC's first win in Ligue 1 McDonald's since 4th January and only their second win in their last 11 in the league. It is a result that lifts Le Havre to 13th, just ahead of OGC Nice on goal difference.

Angers  1-0 Toulouse

All the pre-match talk here concerned Branco van den Boomen, who was facing former side Toulouse. The Dutchman started for Angers in a game decided by fine margins... and a late goal. And who else would deliver the assist for the match-winning goal but van den Boomen.

Alexandre Dujeux's side had to wait until the 89th minute to get the only goal of the game, which would prove to be the winner, and it was Lilian Raolisoa who would get it. It is a result that sees Angers close the gap to eighth-placed side Toulouse to just one point.
