Join the Ligue 1 McDonald's team as we catch up on what our international stars were up to as preparations for the World Cup continue to ramp up.
While Georgia won't be going to the World Cup, they did extend their unbeaten run to four matches, following a draw with Romania with a 2-0 win over Bahrain, with Paris Saint-Germain's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia netting from the penalty spot in the second half. Also on Friday, Montenegro earned a two-all draw away to Slovakia, with RC Lens' teenage midfielder Andrija Bulatovic playing 90 minutes.
Elsewhere, Paraguay cruised to a 4-0 win over Nicaragua at home, but it was bad news for RC Strasbourg attacker Julio Enciso, who was taken off before the half hour with a quadriceps injury that has his participation in the tournament in doubt. In Miami, a Haiti side featuring several current and former Ligue 1 McDonald's players was beaten by Peru, 2-1, despite former Monaco academy product Wilson Isidor having opened the scoring.

Saturday saw several big names in action, with Belgium starting off a busy day with a 5-0 thumping of ten-man Tunisia. Both Diego Moreira (RC Strasbourg) and Matiás Fernandez-Pardo came off the bench for the Red Devils, while Thomas Meunier and Nathan Ngoy were in the eleven from the off, joining their Lille teammate. In Portugal, the hosts edged Chile 2-1 in a testy encounter with each side having a man sent off, with Paris Saint-Germain's quartet of players all remaining on the bench following their Champions League win.
Folarin Balogun (AS Monaco) started for the United States, and fellow Ligue 1 players Timothy Weah (Olympique de Marseille) and Mark McKenzie (Toulouse FC) both came off the bench, but would fall at home to Germany, 2-1. Elsewhere in the United States on Saturday, RC Lens' Nidal Celik came off the bench in a one-all draw with Panama, while AS Monaco's Denis Zakaria did the same in the Swiss' draw with Australia. Finally, in Cleveland, Marquinhos was in the eleven and Endrick came off the bench to net the winner as the SelecĂŁo prevailed over Egypt, who had OGC Nice's Mohamed Abdelmoneim feature as a substitute.
