The Ligue 1 McDonald's editorial team -- George Boxall, Eric Devin and Eduardo Razo -- have picked their favorites for the 2024/25 season in seven categories. Learn who the experts have picked in our latest series, continuing with our honorees for Save of the Year.

Eduardo Razo: Yehvann Diouf, Stade de Reims

Diouf made 14 saves against RC Lens, and while there were plenty of standout moments, one in particular stood outβ€”a point-blank stop on a powerful header that looked destined for the back of the net. The 25-year-old reacted quickly to deny the goal and keep his team in the match.

Eric Devin: Djordje Petrovic, RC Strasbourg

RC Strasbourg impressed with a long run of unbeaten matches in the season's back half to catapult themselves in to European competition, and Djordje Petrovic was at the heart of much of these strong performances, but perhaps none more so than against LOSC Lille in late January, where he pulled off a string of impressive saves to edge a home victory over their fellow European contenders.

George Boxall: Donovan Leon, AJ Auxerre

The Auxerre goalkeeper had already put himself in the history books with a record 11 saves against Paris Saint-Germain earlier this season - but it simply wasn't enough for Auxerre's Guyanese shot-stopper. Against OGC Nice, LΓ©on would make a stunning triple save, getting down low twice to deny Thomas Louchet before getting out to deny Hicham Boudaoui with a third save in just a matter of seconds.
