With an assist for Tessmann's goal against Nice on Sunday (2-1), Lyon full-back Zachary Athekame has now been involved in five goals in his first seven Ligue 1 McDonald's appearances for OL (2 goals, 3 assists). That is already more than he managed in 27 Serie A matches for Milan (2 goals, 2 assists).
Nice striker Elye Wahi has scored nine goals against OL in Ligue 1 McDonald's, the highest tally by any current top-flight player against a single opponent. In the 21st century, only Wissam Ben Yedder (11) and Kylian Mbappé (10) have scored more Ligue 1 goals against Lyon.
After a sensational display in Paris FC's 4-3 win over Rennes on Sunday, Lassine Sinayoko became the first player to score two goals and provide two assists in a Ligue 1 McDonald's match since Neymar (who recorded 2 goals and 3 assists for PSG against Lille). Sinayoko has now been involved in 16 goals in his last 14 Ligue 1 matches (12 goals, 4 assists). Since the start of April, no player in the French top flight has been involved in more goals than Rennes forward Estéban Lepaul...
...and Estéban Lepaul became the first player to score a hat-trick of penalties in Ligue 1 McDonald's since Leonardo Rodríguez for Toulon against Nancy in January 1992, more than 34 years ago.
Rennes striker Estéban Lepaul scored his 35th, 36th and 37th Ligue 1 goals (28 of them across the last two seasons). That is 10 more goals than any other player over the same period.
Following their 1-0 victory over Monaco at the Stade du Moustoir on Sunday, FC Lorient have earned more points than any other team in Ligue 1 McDonald's (30 points) against the seven clubs currently competing in European competitions since the start of last season, ahead of AS Monaco (27). Lorient have also drawn level with Monaco for wins against those seven sides over that span (9 each, with Lorient's record standing at 9 wins, 3 draws and 4 defeats).
The star of Auxerre's 3-1 win away to Le Havre on Sunday, Danny Namaso scored his second and third goals of the season in just seven Ligue 1 appearances for AJA, matching his total from the whole of last season. Having also provided two assists, including one on Sunday, he is Auxerre's most decisive player this season with five goal involvements.
After their 5-2 win away to Angers on Sunday, Olympique de Marseille have scored at least five goals in ten different Ligue 1 matches since the start of the 2024/25 season, at least four more times than any other team during that period.
By scoring again in RC Lens' 3-1 victory at Troyes on Saturday, Odsonne Edouard ended a run of 11 Ligue 1 matches without a goal, his longest drought in the competition. Before this goal, his last strike had been a brace against Angers in March. Each of his last three Ligue 1 goals has been assisted by Florian Thauvin.
Florian Thauvin registered his fifth and sixth assists of the Ligue 1 season, more than any other player in the division, already matching his total from last campaign. The RC Lens captain has been involved in nine Ligue 1 goals this season (3 goals, 6 assists), at least three more than any other player in the league.
By converting a penalty in Lille's 1-1 draw with Brest on Saturday, Olivier Giroud became the fifth player to score in Ligue 1 after turning 40 (aged 40 years and 17 days), joining Salvador Artigas, Roger Courtois, Benjamin Nivet and Dante. He is the only player in Europe's top five leagues to have scored after reaching that age this season.
Paris Saint-Germain have scored at least one goal in each of their last 21 away matches in all competitions (46 goals scored), at least eight more than any other team currently on such a run across Europe's top five leagues. PSG have also won their last six matches in all competitions. Only Barcelona (10 straight wins before the end of their match against Betis) are on a longer ongoing winning streak among Europe's top five leagues.
Following Friday night's 3-0 win at Le Mans, Toulouse FC have won nine of their last 13 Ligue 1 matches against promoted sides (4 draws), scoring in every one of those games (31 goals in total). Over the last three seasons, no team has recorded more victories against promoted clubs than Toulouse.
Toulouse's Norwegian winger Aron Dønnum has scored and provided an assist in four different Ligue 1 matches since the start of last season. Only Estéban Lepaul has matched that feat during the same period. Dønnum has now been involved in 21 goals in all competitions for Toulouse (9 goals, 12 assists).
