Ousmane Dembélé will be the biggest absentee in Ligue 1 McDonald’s this weekend. The French forward will have "a period of rest over the next few days" before returning to training on Monday, PSG announced on Tuesday evening. He will therefore miss Friday’s trip to Lille in Ligue 1 McDonald’s.
In addition to the 2025 Ballon d’Or winner, PSG will be without Nuno Mendes, who will serve the second game of his three-match suspension. The Portuguese defender is one of four players suspended for Matchday 2. Having been absent against Rennes, Bradley Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye could once again be unavailable for PSG.
LOSC, meanwhile, welcome back Benjamin André from suspension, as well as Tanguy Nianzou. Matias Fernandez-Pardo is ruled out.
On Saturday, RC Lens will still be without Kyllian Antonio, who was sent off in the Trophée des Champions. The defender will serve the second and final match of his suspension. Saud Abdulhamid and Odsonne Edouard will also not make the trip. Ruben Aguilar is once again available to Dino Toppmöller.
Meanwhile, Strasbourg have one suspended player for their first home game of the season at the Meinau: Samir El Mourabet. Martial Godo remains a big doubt, as does Ben Chillwell, while Ismael Doukouré remains unavailable.
For AJ Auxerre, their attack will receive reinforcements in the form of Rémy Labeau-Lascary and Theo Bair, who is returning from suspension and impressed during pre-season. However, Will Still will be without Christ Makosso, who will serve his automatic one-match suspension against SCO Angers following his red card at Lens.
In the weekend’s big clash, on Sunday at 20:45 (CET), AS Monaco may once again have to do without Matthis Abline, as well as Ansu Fati, but will be able to count on Christian Mawissa, who returns from suspension. Marseille, meanwhile, welcome back Quinten Timber and Alexi Koum for the same reason.
Among the other players returning from suspension this weekend are Alexis Vossah at Toulouse FC, Mahdi Camara at Rennes and Kojo Peprah Oppong at Nice.
At Le Havre AC, Yanis Zouaoui, who picked up a thigh injury against Monaco and was substituted early, is ruled out for Saturday’s match in Lyon.
At Troyes, Yvann Titi went off with a thigh injury against Paris FC. He will not be available against Lorient.
The same applies to Pablo Pagis following the match against Nice. The Parisian forward left the pitch limping with an ankle problem in the 81st minute against ESTAC.
Finally, Abner went off injured against Fenerbahçe on Wednesday. The Lyon defender’s involvement against Le Havre is, therefore, uncertain.
