Find out what to watch in Ligue 1 this weekend

This weekend in Ligue 1 will see less games, with the top of the table clash between Racing Club de Lens and Paris Saint-Germain delayed after a decision from the Ligue de Football Professionnel to delay the game due to the Parisian side's UEFA Champions League quarter-final against Liverpool over the gameweek. Monaco and Paris FC's match was moved to Friday, with OM facing Metz the same evening to kick-off the gameweek.

Paris FC vs Monaco

Friday night's action sees two sides in Monaco and Olympique de Marseille who are battling it out for that all-important podium spot for qualification to the UEFA Champions League next season. Les Monégasques are on a six-match winning run and are full of confidence going into their match against Paris FC. Les Parisiens will be looking to push further into safety and into mid-table as they search to continue with a positive start under Antoine Kombouaré.

Olympique de Marseille vs FC Metz

Marseille could cap-off a momentous Friday after announcing the arrival of Stéphane Richard as the club's new president from the summer, officially succeeding Pablo Longora at the helm of the club. With that, and a new badge, OM still have to remain in the present in a must-win clash against the league's bottom side Metz if they are to hope of finishing third and qualifying for the Champions League.

Rennes vs Angers

Can Franck Haise build on his positive start as Rennes boss as the Breton side welcome local rivals Angers at Rohazon Park on Saturday afternoon. Les Rouge et Noir will be looking to make it two wins on the bounce against an Angers side that have slipped to 12th place after a promising start to the year.

OGC Nice vs Le Havre

The battle to avoid the drop is heating up as Nice host a Le Havre side that will have to travel the length of the country to the Allianz Riviera. Les Aiglons remained 15th last time out after a 3-0 loss to Strasbourg.
