Cameroon and Gabon played out what was a nail-biting 1-0 win for the Indomitable Lions

Catch up on all the action from Wednesday's four group stage AFCON matches, including a dramatic late win by Burkina Faso.

Burkina Faso 2-1 Equatorial Guinea

When Equatorial Guinea had a man sent off just after the break in Group E, it looked to be only a matter of time before Burkina Faso -- already the favorites ahead of the match -- made their dominance tell. However, in the 85th minute, Equatorial Guinea scored from a corner, with a looping header just evading Angers goalkeeper Hervé Koffi. Stunned, but not resigned, Les Étalons responded with two goals in added time to pull out a vital result, with FC Lorient's Arsène Kouassi also playing ninety minutes.

Cameroon 1-0 Gabon

In Group F, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Olympique de Marseille was fit enough to come off the bench for Gabon, playing alongside the Angers duo of Jim Allevinah and Jacques Ékomie. But the veteran's presence wasn't enough to overcome an early goal for Cameroon, who saw five Ligue 1 McDonald's players feature. Darlin Yongwa and Arthur Avom (both FC Lorient) started alongside Danny Namaso (AJ Auxerre), while Eric Junior Dina Ebimbe (Brest) and Frank Magri (Toulouse FC) both came off the bench.

Côte d'Ivoire 1-0 Mozambique

RC Strasbourg's Guéla Doué played ninety minutes, while Stade Rennais' Seko Fofana came off the bench as Les Élephants delivered a composed performance in Group F. Amad Diallo's goal just after the break was the difference between the two sides, enough for a win for Côte d'Ivoire ahead of a tougher test against Cameroon at the weekend.

Algeria 3-0 Sudan

Finally, in Group E, Algeria scored in the second minute and rarely looked back, as a side featuring Aissa Mandi (Lille) and Hicham Boudaoui (OGC Nice) recorded a comfortable win thanks to a brace from Riyad Mahrez. Algeria will next take on Burkina Faso on Sunday.
