As the summer window wrapped up in Ligue 1 McDonald's yesterday, we take a look at a (very) busy day of final transfer moves:
Already the busiest club in Ligue 1 McDonald's this summer, the Alsatians kept things busy through the eleventh hour, adding a trio of players, two of whom have joined from the Premier League. English left back Ben Chilwell arrives from Chelsea, and Paraguay international Julio Enciso also joins from Brighton, while young winger Martial Godo has also been added to Liam Rosenior's exciting young side.

After a slow start to the mercato, Stade Brestois were also making moves. After adding winger Pathé Mboup and striker Rémy Labeau Lascary at the weekend, the Breton side added a healthy dose of experience to their midfield. Lucas Tousart, a player instrumental in Lyon's run to the Champions League semifinals in 2020, has returned to France, joined by another former Bundesliga player, Éric Junior Dina Ebimbe. Late of Eintracht Frankfurt, the former Paris Saint-German academy player arrives on loan for the season.

After a cracking win over FC Metz at the weekend, Paris FC were swiftly back into the mercato yesterday, and in a big way as they added Jonathan Ikoné. A vastly experienced player in Ligue 1 through his lengthy spell at LOSC Lille, he is a product of the PSG academy as well, and a former French international. Following an intermittently succesful sell with Fiorentina in Italy, he is back to his native country alongside Hamari Traoré. The former Reims and Rennes fullback is now a Mali international, but he is, like Ikoné, a product of the Paris suburbs, having made his professional debut for his new club in 2012.
LOSC Lille were also busy in the mercato's final stretch -- the norther club added veteran defenders Chancel Mbemba from Olympique de Marseille and Calvin Verdonk from the Dutch top flight -- the latter has become the first Indonesian player to play for a French top flight side. Their neighbors RC Lens, meanwhile, added striker Odsonne Édouard from Crystal Palace as the former Paris Saint-Germain and Toulouse FC forward returns to the French top flight.
