This season, four Ligue 1 McDonald's sides will compete across the Europa League and Europa Conference League. Nice's place in the former was confirmed following a defeat to Benfica in Champions League qualifying earlier this month. Lille and Lyon were already confirmed to compete in the competition, whilst Strasbourg confirmed their place in the Europa Conference League thanks to Thursday's 3-2 win over Brondby in Denmark on Thursday night.
There will be some reunions for Nice. Pablo Rosario recently completed a move away from Le Gym, joining Porto, where he will join up with former Nice manager Francesco Farioli. Nice will pay them a visit in the Europa League. Franck Haise's side will also pay a visit to Celta Vigo, just a short journey across the border in Spain.
Nice will also face a tricky trip to Turkey to face Fenerbahce, as well as a trip up north to face Ludogorets. There are some exciting games in store at home, too. AS Roma will face the Ligue 1 McDonald's outfit at the Allianz Riviera, as will another Portuguese side, Braga.

Bundesliga side Freiburg and Dutch side Go Ahead Eagles complete Nice's draw. Haise's side will look to improve on last season's performance in the competition, when they failed to progress from the League Phase.
Like Nice, Lille will also face Roma, this time on the road, as well as Celta Vigo, also away. The similarities don't end there. LOSC will also host Freiburg. There are also trips to Young Boys in Switzerland, and a potentially tricky tie against Red Star Belgrade in Serbia.
At home, Bruno Genesio's side will also face PAOK, Brann, and Dinamo Zagreb. Les Dogues are regulars in Europe. Two seasons ago, they were in the Europa Conference League, and last season pulled off some astonishing results in the League Phase of the Champions League, notably beating Real Madrid. LOSC will be looking to go deep into the Europa League this time around.
Lyon's Europa League campaign last season ended on a sour note, with a heartbreaking defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford. However, their performances in Ligue 1 McDonald's last season saw them qualify for this year's League Phase once again. There are some tough away trips for Paulo Fonseca's side, notably to Real Betis, as well as Utrecht in the Netherlands. There are also away games against Maccabi Tel Aviv and Young Boys.
At home, Les Gones will face RB Salzburg, PAOK, Basel, and Go Ahead Eagles. Like last season, the objective will be to progress from the League Phase of the competition.
Strasbourg booked their place in the Europa Conference League thanks to their win last night. They have been rewarded with a home tie against Premier League side Crystal Palace, demoted to this competition following their FA Cup win last season. Liam Rosenior's side will also host Jagiellonia and Breidablik at the Meinau.

There are some interesting away trips for Le Racing, including to Aberdeen in Scotland. They will also face Slovan Bratislava and Hacken, as they make a much-anticipated return to European football.
