After Ruben Kluivert's move to Lyon this summer, another member of the Kluivert family is set to feature in Ligue 1. His older brother Justin had a loan spell with OGC Nice during the 2021-22 season, and their father spent the 2007-08 campaign at Lille, making the family no strangers to French football. The younger Kluivert has yet to find a club where he can establish himself as he's played for three different clubs in the past three seasons, so OL will look to provide with stability.
The 24-year-old midfielder joins Nantes from Celtic, spending the last two seasons on loan stints at St Mirren and Hibernian. Hyeok-kyu never made an appearance for Celtic and now will look for a fresh start in French football with Nantes. The South Korean came up through
Busan IPark's youth system and he eventually cracked the first team in 2019, making 44 appearances for the club while scoring three goals.
In April 2021, Kwon began his mandatory military service by joining Gimcheon Sangmu, the military football team. During his time there, he played as a defensive midfielder and helped the team win the K League 2 title. He completed his service and returned to Busan on September 2022.
Oppong has spent all his professional career in Sweden, playing for GIF Sundsvall and IFK Norrköping. The center-back joins Nice after spending last season with Norrköping, where he made 23 appearances, and now will get his first experience playing in another league that isn't in Sweden, and looks to be an impact player for Nice.
After seven years with Standard Liège, Ngoy departed to join LOSC Lille and will experience playing abroad for the first team in his career. The 22-year-old made 53 total appearances for the Belgium side since making his professional debut in May 2021 against Oostende.
Ngoy scored his first professional goal in dramatic fashion, netting the winner in a comeback victory over bitter rivals Anderlecht. The Belgian Clasico showdown at Sclessin in October 2023 saw his side rally from two goals down to seal a memorable win.
