Bah is back

A Sierra Leone international, teenage defender Bah spent the second half of last season on loan with RC Lens, having joined in the wake of Le Sang et Or selling Abdukodir Khusanov to the Premier League side. While injury limited his playing time to some extent with Lens, he nevertheless helped the northern side keep clean sheets in four of the eight matches he started, impressing with both his aerial ability and mobility. Now he's returned to France, joining OGC Nice as Les Aiglons hope to reach the Champions League on the back of a fourth-place finish. Speaking on his signing, Bah said, I'm proud to be joining this club and this project. There are some big dates coming up very early in the summer. It's going to be an exciting season. It's up to me and us to be ready!”

Koffi heads west

An experienced Burkina Faso international (60 caps) Hervé Koffi started his professional career with LOSC Lille and returned to Ligue 1 last summer, but was only deployed as a backup, unable to unseat either Brice Samba or Mathew Ryan in the Lens goal. Now, he joins Angers on loan for the season, where he'll compete with the incumbent first choice, Yahia Fofana, for a starting spot.

Finally, on the back of exercising purchase options on young English winger Samuel Amo-Ameyaw and Ireland international defender Andrew Omobamidele, RC Strasbourg have added a new face to the fold, in the form of Senegalese midfielder Pape Demba Diop. Joining the Alsatian club from second-tier Belgian side Zulte Waregem, he follows a rich tradition of players from Senegal to have played for the club, including forwards Habib Diallo and Mamadou Niang and midfielder Habib Diarra. Scoring seven goals and adding seven assists, the rangy central midfielder will look to play a key role in Liam Rosenior's high-octane approach.
