Whilst the Nations League was full of goals and drama over the weekend, it wasn't over yet for the European nations as the World Cup qualifiers continued on Monday evening.

Poland 2-0 Malta

Poland managed to get the job done against Malta to make it two wins out of two in their qualifying campaign, leaving Stade de Reims midfielder and captain Teddy Teuma pointless in Malta's first two qualifying matches this break.

Bosnia and Herzegovina 2-1 Cyprus

Bosnia managed to hold off a firm challenge from Cyprus to nail down first spot in their qualifying group, with Olympique de Marseille's Amar Dedic starting in an offensive winger spot on the left side, wearing the no.7 shirt and playing the full 90 minutes.

What's coming up in European qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 2026?

After featuring already during the international break, Stade Rennais midfielder Jordan James will look to be involved as Wales look to kick on in their World Cup qualifying campaign against North Macedonia on Tuesday evening in what will be a top of the table clash in Group J. The Welsh have already won their first outing against Kazakhstan, and North Macedonia go into the fixture after beating Liechtenstein.
