Ousmane Dembélé scored France's leveller against Croatia.

There was no Ligue 1 McDonald's action this weekend with the international break in full-swing, but there was plenty of drama for several of our international representatives as the second legs of the UEFA Nations League quarter-finals were concluded on Sunday evening, as well as the respective play-offs between groups.

France 2-0 Croatia: Les Bleus reach the semi-finals after comeback

Paris Saint-Germain star Ousmane Dembélé extended his prolific goal-scoring form since the turn of the year to the international stage, scoring France's second goal against Croatia to level the Nations League quarter-final on aggregate, which was eventually won by Les Bleus in the penalty shootout (5-4) after a goalless extra-time. The Parisian latched onto Michael Olise's perfectly-played ball across goal and swept home in the 80th minute at the Stade de France. There was action for Bradley Barcola in the first half, whilst fellow PSG man Desiré Doué would make his debut for the French National Team in the second half.

Les Bleus will now face Spain in a repeat of the Euro 2024 semi-finals during the UEFA Nations League semis this summer.

Georgia 6-1 Armenia: Georges Mikautadze and Kvicha Kvaratshelia on fire as the Crusaders keep League B status in style

Georgia were back in action on Sunday as they had already effectively sealed their spot in League B in the UEFA Nations League during their first leg win (3-0) over Armenia, but went on to dominate in the second with an emphatic 6-1 win. After securing a brace in the first outing, Olympique Lyonnais attacker Georges Mikautadze scored twice once more on Sunday, as Paris Saint-Germain's Kvicha Kvaratshelia returned to the side following suspension and bagged a goal just after the hour mark. After starting the first match, Saint-Étienne's Zuriko Davitashvili was an unused substitute against Armenia.

Portugal 5-2 Denmark: Gonçalo Ramos on target as Portugal see off Denmark

Ligue 1 McDonald's Portuguese contingent were back in action as they managed to see off a potent Denmark threat in the Nations League quarter-finals to qualify for a semi-final against Germany in June. Paris Saint-Germain forward Gonçalo Ramos was on target as Nuno Mendes and Vitinha made starts for the Lusitanians. AS Monaco's Mika Biereth wasn't on target for Denmark this time, but grabbed some minutes off the bench in the second half.

Spain 3-3 Netherlands: Fabian Ruiz involved in 6-goal thriller

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz returned to Spain's starting line-up for a thrilling 3-3 draw which led to a penalty shootout won by La Roja to progress to the semi-finals against France in June.
