OGC Nice's Mohamed Abdelmonem was in the starting 11 and played all 90 minutes for Egypt, who scored two first half goals to secure the win. Abdelmonem wasn't the only Ligue 1 McDonald's player out on the pitch as FC Nantes' Mostafa Mohamed came off the bench in the 70th minute.
Chancel Mbemba of Olympique de Marseille captained DR Congo, with Dylan Batubinsika from AS Saint-Étienne and Dimitry Bertaud from Montpellier also starting. Meschak Elia of Nantes came off the bench, and a goal in first-half stoppage time helped DR Congo secure the win.
Nantes' Moses Simon was the lone Ligue 1 McDonald's representative on the Nigerian side, who scored two goals in the first half to secure the win.
Paris Saint-Germain's Achraf Hakimi captained the Moroccan side, which also had AS Monaco's Eliesse Ben Seghir in the starting 11 as two second half goals allowed the Moroccans to leave with the win.
The Elephants' starting eleven included Nice's Evann Guessand, RC Strasbourg's Guela Doué, Angers SCO's Yahia Fofana and Jean-Eudes Aholou, and AS Monaco's Wilfried Singo. AJ Auxerre's Clément Akpa came off the bench as Guessand scored Côte d'Ivoire's lone goal.
OM's Amine Gouiri continues this impressive 2025, recording a goal and an assist for Algeria. Nice's Hicham Boudaoui was also in the starting 11 for Algeria and provided the assist on the goal scored by Gouiri. Lille's Aïssa Mandi also featured in the lineup, helping Algeria's defense limit Botswana's attack to one goal.
Stade de Reims' Soumaïla Sylla, Montpellier's Issiaga Sylla, and Le Havre's Abdoulaye Touré were all in the starting 11 for Guinea for what was a scoreless contest.
Ghana's starting 11 included AJA's Gideon Mensah, Monaco's Mohammed Salisu, and Olympique Lyonnais' Ernest Nuamah. Nuamah recorded a goal and an assist as the Black Stars secured a convincing result.
Monaco's Lamine Camara and Krépin Diatta joined Nice's Antoine Mendy and Lyon's Moussa Niakhaté were in the starting 11 for Senegal. Despite the Ligue 1 McDonald's talent on the squad, Senegal played Sudan to a scoreless draw.
