Achraf Hakimi will hope to Marseille to the sword once more.

"This match is special"

Speaking pre-match, Marseille midfielder Valentin Rongier was clear about the importance of this match for his team, particularly with them having lost two of three in the league to re-open the race for the Champions League. "It's everything. This match is special for us, the club and the fans. We can't afford to be lacking in intensity or in the desire to win every duel. We've been working with the coach for 8 months, the aim is to become a great team."

While Rongier is likely to start in midfield, other choices will be difficult for de Zerbi -- Mason Greenwood was withdrawn against Lens -- could Neal Maupay or Jonathan Rowe make a return to the eleven in his stead? And what about the defence? Amir Murrillo was forced off last week, meaning Luiz Felipe is likely to start in the middle of the visitors' back three, despite having played just 12 minutes since joining in January.

As for the hosts, with no major injuries, their only lack of certainty is whether Désiré Doué -- recently called up to the French national team for the first time -- will start in midfield. With Warren Zaïre-Emery fit again as well, Luis Enrique will have to make a tough choice in setting out his stall, but with his team still undefeated domestically and buzzing after a masterclass to knock out Liverpool, this match should be theirs for the taking.

Speaking pre-match, Enrique preferred to focus on the importance of the match not for his team but for the fans, saying, "It's going to be very special on Sunday. We need our fans' support for each game. We love their support season after season. They have to focus on Paris Saint-Germain, respect our opponents, support the team. The rivalry exists, it's historic, and I consider that positive."
