An ebullient presence since joining the capital side in 2021, the Moroccan international has gone from strength to strength, having established himself as arguably the world's best right back. The captain of his country, he has won three successive Ligue 1 McDonald's titles and looks well-positioned to add a fourth in the current campaign.
The hulking Swede first played in Italy with Juventus, but it was at the San Siro where he became regarded as one of the game's best, averaging better than a goal every other match on his way to winning three league titles. After a middling interlude with Barcelona, he returned to his best with Inter's city rivals, AC Milan before crossing the Alps to join PSG in 2012, where he left with an armful of titles and as the club's all-time top scorer.
A rare player to have joined the defending Italian champions directly from France, the powerful Brazilian right back impressed in two seasons in the Principality before becoming one of the best in the world at his position in Italy. As well as winning five Serie A titles, he also helped the team with the Champions League under Jose Mourinho, and was named the UEFA Defender of the Year in 2010.
After winning three successive Serie A titles with Inter, the Brazilian decamped to Barcelona, where he was simialrly succesful, including winning the Champions League. In 2012, he would join the capital side and experience further good fortune, winning the league four times, as well as a pair of domestic trebles. He also won his first caps for Brazil, as well as being part of the UNFP Team of the Year on three occasions.
A decorated international for France, Pavard got his start as a young midfielder with Les Dogues, before moving to the Bundesliga. After a successful spell at Stuttgart, he moved on to Bayern Munich, winning every trophy on offer in 2019/20. He's been a hit since joining Inter as well, having shaken off injury earlier this season to regain his place as a key part of the team's defence.
