Six Ligue 1 McDonald's sides are back in action on Saturday,

We're set for a busy Saturday with plenty of Ligue 1 McDonald's action, with three big clashes coming up as Rennes, Monaco, PSG, and Reims are all in action.

Struggling Rennes face tough test in Monaco trip (17:00 CET)

Jorge Sampaoli's Rennes outfit travel down to the principality after four straight defeats in all competitions, and will have to face a Monégasque outfit who are equally winless in their last four games in Ligue 1 McDonald's. Yet Adi Hütter's side will be buoyed from their midweek UEFA Champions League victory against Premier League outfit Aston Villa (0-1).

Yet the focus has to come back to domestic affairs for Monaco, as they hope to earn their first win domestically in 2025 and close in on the top three. For Rennes, they start the gameweek down in 14th, and need any sort of positive result to put an end to what is becoming a worrying run of form which hasn't particularly improved after Sampaoli's arrival.

Two ambitious sides, Strasbourg and Lille face off in Alsace (19:00 CET)

Nothing ever lasts forever. But it felt like Lille's club-record unbeaten run would have lasted for eternity - but it was put to a swift end by Premier League leaders Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League midweek. Les Dogues now look forward to a testy trip to Stade de la Meinau to face Liam Rosenior's Strasbourg side.

Getting a point from the Vélodrome isn't for everyone, and Les Alsatiens impressed in their last outing against Olympique de Marseille. Unbeaten in their last five matches, only leaders Paris Saint-Germain have been able to take more points (13) than Bruno Génésio's men this season.

Paris Saint-Germain back to league action against a plucky Reims side (21:05 CET)

Saturday evening's match-up sees Luis Enrique's Paris Saint-Germain come back to Ligue 1 McDonald's action after their historic comeback win against Manchester City (4-2) in the UEFA Champions League in midweek. Les Parisiens are hoping to secure their fifth straight win on the bounce in the league to keep setting the pace at the top of the table.

After an initially promising start to the Ligue 1 Mcdonald's season, Reims are now winless in seven matches; the longest of any club in the league this campaign. This downturn in form has seen Luka Elsner's side drop to 13th in the table, only four points above the relegation spots.
