Moses Simon's gamewinner against Rennes was one of our moments of the season (so far)!

Best goal: Moses Simon, FC Nantes

It's been a challenging season for Les Canaris to date, as they currently sit just a point outside the relegation zone, but the wily veteran Nigerian winger has been one of the team's bright spots per usual, racking up five assists and four goals. The most impressive of these was also one of the most vital -- playing in a derby against Stade Rennais last month, he cut inside from the left, rode three challenges and arrowed the ball into the opposite corner, sealing a 1-0 win.

Best match: Strasbourg 1-3  AS Monaco

In the 79th minute, the hosts, then pushing for a place in the top seven, were cruising, up a goal and with Monaco having spurned several chances. However, in the space of the match's final ten minutes, the Principality side showed the sting in their tail with three late goals, all well-taken, to get a vital win and remain in the mix for the top four.

Best Tifo: Marseille-PSG

Nothing says spice like Le Classique, and on PSG's visit to the Vélodrôme, the home supporters offered a sharp reminder of a clash between club legend Fabrizio Ravanelli and PSG's Pierre Durocq in 1997. While the hosts would lost the match following an early red card, the clever tifo offered a great reminder of the lingering enmity between the two rivals.

Best Moment: Patrik Carlgren's match vs PSG

The unheralded Swedish goalkeeper was brought in this summer to be an experienced backup to Alban Lafont in the Nantes goal, and when Lafont was dropped after a poor run of play, the veteran stepped into the void against Paris Saint-Germain. While hardly an easy task, Carlgren shook off an early blunder to make nine saves and preserve a one-all draw for Les Canaris.

Best Transfer: Lamine Camara, AS Monaco

Still just 20, the young Senegal international made the move to the Principality in the summer after a precocious season with FC Metz. While he couldn't help Les Grenats beat the drop, he consistently stood out with sterling play in midfield. Now an integral part of Adi HĂĽtter's team, he recently won (for the second time running) the CAF Young Player of the Year, and has two goals and two assists as his team are riding high in Ligue 1 and the UEFA Champions League.
