Lassine Sinayoko (Paris FC), the league’s leading scorer with eight goals.

Lassine Sinayoko has been involved in three goals in a Ligue 1 McDonald’s match for the third time this season, the joint-highest tally across Europe’s top five leagues alongside Raphinha.

A remarkable influence

The new Ligue 1 McDonald’s top scorer after Matchday 9, taking over from Estéban Lepaul (SRFC), the Paris FC striker has been involved in 13 league goals this season, scoring eight and providing five assists.

Only Raphinha (18), Lamine Yamal (17) and Kylian Mbappé (14) have registered more goal contributions across Europe’s top five leagues.

Sinayoko is only the third player to score eight goals in the opening nine matchdays of a Ligue 1 McDonald’s season over the last three campaigns, after Bradley Barcola in 2024/25 and Joaquín Panichelli in 2025/26.

The Mali international has already recorded two braces and one hat-trick in nine appearances for Paris FC, meaning he has already produced more multi-goal games than he managed in 99 top-flight appearances for Auxerre (2).

Finally, the Paris FC striker is the first African player to reach eight goals at this stage of a Ligue 1 McDonald’s season since George Weah in 1991/92.
