Jonathan Clauss (OGCN).

Winners at Troyes (0-2), Olympique de Marseille recorded their 2nd win of the season (4 defeats) on Matchday 6. That is the longest wait for a second victory in 10 years, since the 2016/2017 season (2nd win on Matchday 7).

After their win over Auxerre (4-1), Stade Rennais are unbeaten in their last 8 home Ligue 1 McDonald’s matches (6 wins, 2 draws), the longest current run in the top flight and their longest home unbeaten run in three years (also 8, between April and October 2023). The Bretons have the best home record in Ligue 1 in 2026 (27 points, level with Lens).

1

Estéban Lepaul scored his 34th Ligue 1 McDonald’s goal, and his first from outside the box. Since Opta began analysing the league (2006/2007), only Jonathan David (60) has had to wait longer than the Rennes striker to score from distance.

4

Auxerre striker Cameron Archer became, at Rennes on Sunday (4-1), the 8th player in the last 80 years to score in each of his first 4 Ligue 1 McDonald’s matches. The English forward already has as many goals for AJA this season as he managed in 30 appearances for Southampton in the Championship last year (4 realisations).

7

Scorer in OGC Nice’s win over Strasbourg on Saturday (2-1), Jonathan Clauss has scored in each of his seven Ligue 1 McDonald’s seasons since he first played in the top flight in 2020/2021, at least two more than any other defender over that period. Before his goal, the Nice full-back was the player with the 3rd most shots without scoring in L1 this season (15), behind PSG’s Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué (16 each).

5

Scorer in PSG’s win over Le Mans on Saturday (3-1), Lucas Beraldo is the 5th different player to score a penalty for PSG in Ligue 1 McDonald’s since the start of last season, after Ousmane Dembélé, Gonçalo Ramos, Nuno Mendes and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, more than any other Ligue 1 McDonald’s team over that period. Kvaratskhelia, meanwhile, has been involved in 7 goals as a substitute in 2026 across all competitions (6 goals, 1 assist). Only Fábio Silva with Dortmund and Michael Olise with Bayern Munich (8 each) have done better this year among players in Europe’s top 5 leagues. 19 of his 29 goals for Paris SG have been scored at the Parc des Princes.

17

Le Mans striker Louis Mafouta has been involved in 17 league goals in 2026 (8 goals and 4 assists with Guingamp in Ligue 2 BKT, 4 goals and 1 assist with Le Mans in Ligue 1 McDonald’s). No player in the top two French divisions since the start of the year has a higher total (17 also for Estéban Lepaul and Florian Thauvin).

8

After AS Monaco’s draw with Toulouse on Saturday (2-2), Filipe Luis became the first manager not to lose any of his first 8 matches in all competitions with the Principality club (6 wins, 2 draws) since Claude Puel in January-March 1999 (10).

10

Standing out in Brest’s win over Angers on Saturday (5-1), Ludovic Ajorque has 10 headed goals, at least three more than any other player since his Ligue 1 McDonald’s debut with SB29 in 2024/2025. The Brest centre-forward also scored his 9th Ligue 1 McDonald’s goal of 2026, his 8th at home. Only Amine Gouiri has found the net more often on home soil this year (9).

135

Although Paris FC lost at Lorient on Saturday (1-0), Maxime Lopez completed 135 of his 142 attempted passes, the highest total for a player in a Ligue 1 McDonald’s match this season. The PFC midfielder has done better only once in his top-flight career: 141 completed passes with OM against Bordeaux in February 2019.

13

Winners over Le Havre on Saturday (1-0), LOSC have 13 points after 6 Ligue 1 McDonald’s matches (4 wins, 1 draw, 1 defeat). They have reached this total at this stage only twice in L1 this century: in 2018/2019 (13 points, finishing 2nd) and in 2020/2021 (14, champions).

1

RC Lens really are bad news for Olympique Lyonnais. OL had not yet lost in Ligue 1 McDonald’s this season, and in the last 15 seasons only in 2012/2013 (7th match) did they wait longer to concede a first defeat. Their previous loss was on 17 May... against Lens (0-4).

5

Florian Thauvin has provided 5 assists in his last 7 Ligue 1 McDonald’s matches with Lens, as many as in his first 32. The RCL player made a decisive contribution for the 10th time in his career against OL (6 goals, 4 assists), making them his favourite prey.
