Qualified for the 31st edition of the Trophée des Champions thanks to their win in the Coupe de France, Lens will host PSG (Ligue 1 McDonald's champions) at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on Sunday, 16th August at 20:45 (CET) on Ligue1+.
Les Sang et Or returned to pre-season training on 9th July and will take part in the Como Cup between 28th July and 1st August. In Como, Italy, the second-place finishers in Ligue 1 McDonald's will face five teams (Al-Ula, Como, Crystal Palace, Famalicao, Villarreal).
Then, and before facing PSG, RCL will play in the "Trophée 1906" at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis as part of the club's 120-year celebrations. On 8th August at 16:00 (CET), they will host Sunderland.
PSG, meanwhile, will return to pre-season training on 25th July, ordinarily without a good number of the 16 players who competed in the World Cup. They will benefit from a four-week break, starting from the date of their elimination from the tournament. At the latest, the last ones to return will do so on 10th August.
The return to official competition will come very quickly for PSG, with the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday, 12th August in Salzburg (Austria). The current holders and two-time Champions League winners will face Aston Villa.
Four days later, it is the Trophée des Champions that will await Paris Saint-Germain.
The start of the 2026/27 Ligue 1 McDonald's season will come one week after the Trophée des Champions (21/22/23 August) and can be watched in full on Ligue1+ and through the Ligue 1 Pass.
