Promoted Auxerre turned in an impressive display in beating the Parisian side 2-0. 


Stade Brestois 29 - Juventus (ITA): 2-2

Les Pirates held their own against a fellow Champions League side as Éric Roy matched wits with Thiago Motta in an entertaining draw.


RC Lens - Bayer Leverkusen: 2-2

Wesley Saïd and Jonathan Gradit found the net for Will Still's side in an impressive draw against Xabi Alonso's Bundesliga Champions.


Olympique Lyonnais - Union Berlin: 4-0

With Alexandre Lacazette away on Olympic duty, Gift Orban netted a double as Les Gones recorded a convincing win over their Bundesliga opponents.


Olympique de Marseille - Sunderland AFC 2-2

Faris Moumbagna and Canadian international Ismaël Koné both netted for Roberto de Zerbi's team as they were held away to Sunderland.

Tino Kadewere and Moses Simon both scored to help the hosts defeat Les Tangos

The Champagne side closed out their Japanese tour with a narrow loss to the defending J-League champions.
