In what's already been a busy offseason in terms of managerial changes, Paris FC joined the fray earlier today, announcing former RC Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior as Antoine Kombouaré's replacement.
Having departed Alsace after a relatively successful season-and-a-half at La Meinau to take the reins at Chelsea, Liam Rosenior is back in Ligue 1 McDonald's. Having been named the head coach of Paris FC's ambitious project following the departure of veteran Antoine Kombouaré, he'll look to bring his signature style of high-octane football back to the French top division with the capital side.
Having impressed not only with his tactics, but in helping young players like Diego Moreira, Andrey Santos and Valentín Barco come on leaps and bounds, Rosenior is well-respected for his style as well as his man-management. Working with Paris FC, he'll be in charge of one of the division's oldest squads, but one that is hardly lacking in young talent, with the likes of record signing Patrick Zabi and Rudy Matondo among the players who have plenty of potential.

Still just 41 but already with an impressive CV as a manger, Rosenior's appointment reflects the club's ambitious transfer strategy of late, but also their desire to play a modern brand of football. This was something underscored by Marco Neppe, the Club's sporting director, who said of the appointment: “Liam Rosenior brings together all the qualities we were looking for (in a manager). He is a modern coach, demanding and recognized for his ability to develop both individual players and the collective. Beyond his tactical skills, we were particularly seduced by his management qualities and his ability to unite a group around a clear vision. I am convinced that he has all the qualities to succeed at Paris FC and I wish him every success in this new chapter of his career."
