There has been more movement on Le Rocher. AS Monaco have officialised their third recruit of the summer in the form of a loan deal for Mathys Detourbet. The 19-year-old gem has joined from Manchester City, but it was at ESTAC Troyes where the left winger broke through last season (three goals, five assists), with the club promoted to Ligue 1 McDonald's.

Two days after ending his seven-year stint at Lorient, Laurent Abergel has joined OGC Nice. At 33 years old, the defensive midfielder, who came through the ranks at Marseille, is back in the South of France. The former Merlu is the first recruit from new sporting director, Roger Ricort.

Twenty-four hours after Mads Bidstrup, Lyon have signed a fourth player in the form of Julian Duranville. The 20-year-old Belgium youth international replaces Afonso Moreira, who left for Bayer Leverkusen at the start of the transfer window. The Uccle native, who arrives from Borussia Dortmund, has signed until 2031 for a โ‚ฌ5m fee (with a further โ‚ฌ3.5m in bonuses) that includes a 20% sell-on clause. An explosive player, Duranville came through at Anderlecht before moving to the Ruhr at 16 years old. He is coming off the back of a six-month loan spell at FC Basel, where he played 17 matches (two goals).

Brest are preparing for the future with the arrival of young goalkeeper Noรฉ Polillion. He has played for SC Amiens, then Metz. The 18-year-old goalkeeper has joined SB29 for the next three seasons. Spotted by Brest's goalkeeper coach, Olivier Blondel, the two-metre goalkeeper will first play with the reserve team but he could quickly join up with the first-team squad.

After Noham Kamara and Kail Boudache, Lyon announced on Wednesday the arrival of their third recruit. Danish midfielder Mads Bidstrup has joined from RB Salzburg in a deal worth โ‚ฌ10.5m plus a further โ‚ฌ3m in bonuses (with a 10% sell-on clause), signing a five-year deal. The 25-year-old was a Denmark youth international (10 caps) and has been called up to the senior side, but he has yet to earn his first cap. Having come through in Denmark, firstly at Brondby and then at FC Copenhagen, he continued his training at RB Leipzig and then in England, where he began his professional career with Brentford. He then returned to Denmark, to Nordsjaelland, before joining RB Salzburg in 2023. It is in Austria where he value rose, as he played 116 matches (four goals) in three years.

Auxerre also confirmed the arrival of a new midfielder on Wednesday. 21-year-old Belgium youth international Arthur Piedfort is the first summer recruit for L'AJA in 2026. He has signed for four years and will wear the No.46 shirt. Having come through at PSV Eindhoven, he has played at KVS Westerlo since 2023. There, he quickly became a key player, despite his young age (88 matches in three seasons).

After Patrick Zabi, Paris FC officialised their second signing on Wednesday, with the arrival of the young Andria Kvirikadze. 18-years old, this Georgian attacking midfielder comes from Dinamo Tbilisi, the club of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. "His arrival completely aligns with Paris FC's desire to continue the development of its squad by leaning on high-potential youth players," said the Parisian club, without specifying the duration of the contract.

After having officialised the exits of Wout Faes, Simon Adingra, Krรฉpin Diatta, and Caio Henrique, Monaco announced their first two summer recruits. Loaned last season, Ansu Fati has joined permanently. He scored 11 goals and registered one assist last season in 25 matches in Ligue 1 McDonald's. The Spanish forward has signed a four-year deal, until 2030.

Monaco have also strengthened in defence. Flavio Nazinho has replaced Caio Henrique on the left side of the Monรฉgasque defence. The 22-year-old Portuguese left-back, who has joined from Cercle Brugge, has also signed until 2030.

On the same day, Lorient also welcomed their first recruit of the window, with the arrival of Alec Georgen. A PSG academy product, he has also spent time at Avranches, AJ Auxerre, Concarneau, and Dunkerque. The 27-year-old right-back has signed for three seasons. He was a free agent after two seasons at Dunkerque (64 matches in Ligue 2 BKT).
