Tuesday saw a busy slate of friendly matches as team made their final preparations for the World Cup -- see how the players of Ligue 1 McDonald's got on with our latest roundup.

Chile clash with DR Congo

With the World Cup days away, many of the teams in action were preparing for the tournament in North America, but that wasn't the case for every match, starting with Indonesia's 1-0 win over Mozambique in Jakarta. Calvin Verdonk (LOSC) started and played ninety minutes for the hosts as a left-sided wingback.

In another friendly played in the French city of Orleans, several players from Ligue 1 McDonald's took part as a Chile side featuring Auxerre's Francisco Sierralta in defence earned a surprise 2-1 win over DR Congo. The Leopards will no doubt have taken the result in stride as they look to the tournament. Chancel Mbemba and Ngal'ayel Mukau (LOSC) both featured, as did Lionel Mpasi (Le Havre) and Nathanaรซl Mbuku (Montpellier). Elsewhere, Burkina Faso drew two-all with Belarus, with FC Lorient's Arsรจne Kouassi starting and Lohann Doucet (Dunkerque) making his senior debut.

Barco on target for Argentina

In San Antonio, Saudi Arabi and Senegal battled to a scoreless draw, with Saud Abdulhamid (RC Lens) in the eleven for the Saudis and Moussa Niakhatรฉ (Lyon), Krรฉpin Diatta and Lamine Camara (both AS Monaco) all in the eleven for coach Pape Thiaw. Bamba Dieng (FC Lorient) and Ibrahim Mbaye (Paris Saint-Germain) also came off the bench for the Lions of Teranga. In Chicago, Toulouse FC midfielder Cristiรกn Casseres Jr was on target for Venezuela as they earned a 2-0 win over Iraq.

Finally, in Auburn, Alabama, a trio of Ligue 1 McDonald's players were on the teamsheet for Lionel Scaloni as the reigning champions took on Iceland, with Valentรญn Barco (RC Strasbourg) and the Marseille duo of Facundo Medina and Geronรญmo Rullรญ all in the eleven. Barco's inclusion would prove decisive, as the young midfielder opened the scoring on eight minutes, knocking home a loose ball from the edge of the area.
