Didier Deschamps has revealed his France squad for the March international break as Les Bleus head to the United States for two friendlies. France will face Brazil at Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium on Thursday 26 March, before taking on Colombia at Landover’s Northwest Stadium on Sunday 29 March.
The 26-man squad features several Ligue 1-developed players, underlining the domestic league’s continuing influence on the national setup. Jules Koundé is absent due to a thigh injury, opening the door for Pierre Kalulu, while PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier earns a call-up despite losing his No.1 spot at the club. Aurélien Tchouaméni returns after missing the last international window, and PSG’s Désiré Doué replaces injured winger Bradley Barcola.
Elsewhere, France U21 head coach Gérald Baticle has named his squad for the Euro 2027 qualifiers, with matches against Luxembourg on 26 March in Differdange and Iceland on 30 March in Auxerre. The U21s top their group with 10 points from four matches, and Baticle’s selection highlights Ligue 1’s next generation, notably 18-year-old LOSC midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi, who is attracting interest from Morocco despite his French allegiance.
