The 2026/2027 season will resume on the weekend of August 23, 2026.
Matchday 14, scheduled for the weekend of December 13, 2026, will be the last of the 2026 calendar year. The season will resume with Matchday 15, scheduled for the weekend of January 3, 2027, and no matches will be played on Friday, January 1st. The 34th and final matchday will be played on Saturday, May 29, 2027.
This season, Ligue 1 McDonald's will not have any midweek fixtures:

The first leg of the Ligue 1 McDonald’s promotion play-offs will take place on Thursday, June 3, while the second leg will be played on Sunday, June 6, 2027. This two-legged tie will pit the 16th-placed team in Ligue 1 McDonald’s against the winner of the Ligue 2 BKT play-offs.
The 31st edition of the Trophée des Champions will be played on the weekend of August 15, 2026.
The general competition calendar for the 2026/2027 season will be approved by the FFF Executive Committee on December 12.
