Catch up on all of the international action involving Ligue 1 McDonald's players as we round up Monday's results from around the globe, spanning UEFA World Cup qualifying and more.
A day after AS Monaco's Maghnes Akliouche impressed to help France seal a place in next summer's World Cup, qualifying continued in earnest in UEFA. In Group L, Czechia sealed a spot in the playoffs with a 6-0 win over Gibraltar, with Olympique Lyonnais winger Adam Karabec netting for the hosts. After having scored against the Faroe Islands in October, he's now scored or assisted in three straight matches for his country, having only made his senior debut in September.
In Group G, a pair of Ligue 2 BKT stars -- Stade de Reims' Teddy Teuma and AS Saint-Étienne's Irvin Cardona -- were both on the scoresheet, but Malta would eventually fall to visiting Poland 3-2. Also in Group G, Emanuel Emegha (RC Strasbourg) came off the bench again for his second cap as the Netherlands picked up a comprehensive 4-0 home win over Lithuania to finish top.
