With the international break in full swing, we round up the results in UEFA and CAF for our Ligue 1 McDonald's stars.
Despite three Ligue 1 McDonald's players -- Zuriko Davitashvili (AS Saint-Étienne), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (Paris Saint-Germain) and Giorgi Tsitaishvili (FC Metz), Georgia lost at home to Turkiye, 3-2, despite the visitors finishing with ten men.
Belgium made things easy for themselves in World Cup Qualifying with a big win over Luxembourg, netting five second-half goals in a 6-0 win. Of the five Ligue 1 players called up for the Red Devils this break, three were involved, with Thomas Menuier (LOSC Lille) and Malick Fofana (Olympique Lyonnais) starting and Diego Moreira (RC Strasbourg) making his official debut off the bench. With Fofana on the scoresheet, it was a comprehensive win.

World Cup qualifying was also in full swing in Africa, with Algeria hosting Botswana in one of the key matches. The hosts picked up a 3-1 win with plenty of Ligue 1 McDonald's players involved -- Amine Gouiri (Olympique de Marseille), Nabil Bentaleb, Aissa Mandi (both LOSC Lille) and Hicham Boudaoui (OGC Nice) all started, while Ilan Kebbal (Paris FC) was made to wait to make his debut.
Another country with plenty of Ligue 1 representation in CAF is Cameroon, and the Indomitable Lions also picked up a win, beating Eswatini 3-0 with young FC Lorient midfielder Arthur Avom on the scoresheet. Franck Magri (Toulouse FC) was also involved, coming off the bench in the second half. Elsewhere in African qualifying, Mali beat Comoros 3-0 with a goal from Brest's Kamoury Doumbia, and Montassar Talbi (Lorient) helped Tunisia keep a clean sheet in a 3-0 win over Liberia.
