Four Ligue 1 McDonald's players have been called up for the France U-21 squad for the first time in their young careers -- find out more in our latest.
After this last summer's European Championships having come and gone, France now turns to players born in 2004 and after, and they've rejigged their squad to add four new players currently plying their trade in Ligue 1 McDonald's.
Indeed, there are first call-ups for Kader Meïté (Stade Rennais), a former U-19, international and Noah Sangui (Paris FC) and Louis Leroux (FC Nantes), two players who won the Tournoi Maurice-Revello last June with the U20. Former U18, Kévin Danois (AJA) is also in the selection.
Still just 17, Meïté is the most intriguing of the four, having already marked himself as a key player for the Breton side in the wake of the departure of Arnaud Kalimuendo. Having netted twice in Ligue 1 McDonald's last year, he will continue to compete with new signing Jordan Lefort in the club's attack, and will continue to burnish his reputation in the team's upcoming matches.
