Trapp returns to Ligue 1

Kevin Trapp is making his return to Ligue 1 McDonald's. The former PSG goalkeeper (2015-2018) signed a three-year contract with Paris FC on Tuesday evening, through 2028. The 35-year-old goalkeeper returns to the French capital, where he won two French league titles and two French Cups with PSG. In 2018, he was loaned for a season to his former club Eintracht Frankfurt, before transferring there permanently the following summer. Captain of the German team (211 league matches in seven seasons), he won the Europa League in 2022 and finished third in the Bundesliga last season, with seven clean sheets.

A new argentine in Toulouse

A new Argentinian has signed for Toulouse FC! Following the signing of Santiago Hidalgo, Julian Vignolo has arrived from Racing de Cordoba (Argentina's second division) to wear the Violets' jersey. At just 18 years old, this center-forward shines with his versatility, as he's also capable of playing on the right wing or even in midfield. The new number 7 becomes the 19th Argentinian for Toulouse FC, joining the likes of Oscar Trejo, Mauro Cetto, and the legendary Beto Marcico.

Lens add to their midfield

RC Lens also officially announced the arrival of 23-year-old midfielder Mamadou Sangaré on Wednesday. Transferred to RB Salzburg in Austria at the age of 18, the Malian international (capped six times) had a series of loans before joining Rapid Vienna in July 2024. A true revelation for the Austrian capital club, he caught the eye of the Lens management, who signed him to a five-year contract. A tireless midfielder, the new Sang et Or number 8 will also bring impact to the midfield, as he has a "box to box" profile.

Lyon replace Perri

Olympique Lyonnais now have Lucas Perri's replacement. This Monday, the Rhône club announced the arrival of Dominik Greif until 2029. The transfer is valued at €4M, to which can be added €1.25M in bonuses as well as a 15% sell-on clause. The 28-year-old Slovakian international (5 caps) has been playing for RCD Mallorca for the past four years, with whom he played 31 La Liga matches last season. The tall goalkeeper (1.97m) also has some European experience, having played six Europa League matches in 2019 with his youth club, Slovan Bratislava. A competition he will have the opportunity to return to in a month with Les Gones.

Carlos to Nice

OGC Nice have made the seventh signing of the transfer window, its second in the striker position. Following the departures of Gaëtan Laborde and Evann Guessand, Kevin Carlos has arrived on the Riviera. Holding both a Spanish and Nigerian passport, the 24-year-old center forward spent last season at FC Basel, where he scored 15 goals in 39 appearances. "What attracted us was his profile as a modern center forward: powerful, capable of playing as a support or attacking deep," explained Florian Maurice, sporting director of OGC Nice.
