Key Ligue 1 Fixtures for the 2025-26 season
Paris FC vs. Angers SCO
It’s a match 46 years in the making for Paris FC and their supporters, as their last Ligue 1 McDonald’s match was over four decades ago. There will be plenty of emotions when the ball gets rolling and signals their return to France’s top flight.
Paris Saint-Germain vs. Olympique de Marseille
French football fans don’t need to wait long for the first Le Classique of the season as it will come on Matchday 5 on September 21. The next match between the two rivals in league play will come in early 2026 as the two sides battle on Matchday 21 on February 8, 2026.
AS Monaco vs. OGC Nice
The first match of the Derby de la Côte d'Azur this season will be on Matchday 7 on October 5, so Ligue 1 McDonald's fans won't have to wait too long into the season to see these two teams that finished in the top four last campaign. The second matchup will be in early 2026 as these two sides will collide on Matchday 21 on February 8, 2026.
Paris FC vs. PSG
The city of Paris will have a derby this season, but fans will have to be patient to see the matchup. The first clash between the two capital clubs will be on Matchday 18 on January 4, 2026. Fan patience will be tested again, as the second match between PSG and Paris FC will not come until Matchday 34 on May 16, 2026, to close out the season. Still, as the saying goes, good things will come to those who wait.
Lens vs. LOSC Lille
The Derby du Nord will also come early in the season with the two rivals clashing on Matchday 5 on September 21. After that contest in the first few matchdays of the season, fans will need to wait for the second match as the second league match for the derby won't come until Matchday 28 on April 5, 2026.
The Breton Derby
With the return of FC Lorient to Ligue 1 McDonald's means another club will be in the mix when the clubs from Brittany get together for a clash. Here's when all the meetings will occur:
