LOSC Lille have made Norwegian U-21 international Marius Broholm one of the summer's first signings in Ligue 1 McDonald's -- read on as we round up the first week of the mercato.
With the summer transfer window officially opening on Monday, LOSC is focusing on the future. Lille announced the signing of Norwegian U21 international Marius Broholm on Wednesday. The 20-year-old attacking player has signed a contract until June 2030. He arrives from Rosenborg, the club in his hometown of Trondheim. The left-footed right-winger has scored five goals in 11 Norwegian league games since the end of March. After a loan spell in the local second division in 2023, he reached a new level with Rosenborg (16 goals in 43 games), earning him a move to Bruno GΓ©nΓ©sio's side. With the likes of RΓ©my Cabella and Jonathan David having departed, the youngster will be looked on to add a new dimension to the team's attack as they look to build on a fine season.

FC Metz has announced the permanent transfer of Jessy Deminguet, through 2028. The midfielder had been on loan at Metz from RC Strasbourg Alsace last season. A regular in StΓ©phane Le Mignan's team, the 27-year-old played an active role in Metz's promotion to the top flight (33 matches).
Another loan option exercised by Metz was that of Michel Mboula. He was previously on loan from Sanliufarspor (Turkey) since the winter window. Having appeared 10 times in Ligue 2 BKT, the 22-year-old Gabonese international is signed until 2028 with the promoted club.
For their part, AJ Auxerre has successively made two official signings. Lamine Sy, a 23-year-old right-back, has arrived on a free transfer from SM Caen. Upon returning from a serious knee injury, he only started his season in January, but will be eager to prove himself at the top level.
AJA may have also found Jubal's replacement in central defense. in the form of 28-year-old Chilean Francisco Sierralta, who has signed for four years. The new Auxerre player played for Watford last season in the Championship. A senior international (he participated in the qualifiers for the next World Cup), Sierralta has been playing for the English club since 2020. He has extensive experience, having also played in Italy (Serie A and Serie B), with Parma, Empoli, and Udinese.
