If you missed any of the action, here's Friday's set of matches featuring a handful of Ligue 1 McDonald's players on international duty in Europe.
It was a challenging night for Italy as Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma was in the starting 11 for the Italian side against Norway at Ullevaal Stadion. Donnarumma and his teammates conceded three goals in the first half, and they were unable to overcome the onslaught of goals from Norway, losing 3-0.
Luciano Spalletti and his team will have to bounce back on Monday when they face Moldova at Stadio Città del Tricolore.
LOSC Lille's Thomas Meunier was in the starting 11 for Belgium, playing 57 minutes in the one-all draw. After a goal in the first half, the Belgian side had a one-goal lead, but it was North Macedonia who scored late in the 86th minute to level the scoring as the contest ended in a draw.
Meunier wasn't the only Ligue 1 McDonald's player on Belgium's squad as Olympique Lyonnais' Malick Fofana was also there, but he remained on the bench and didn't feature in the match. Belgium's next game will be on Monday when they face Wales to wrap up the June international window.
FC Nantes' Sorba Thomas was in the starting 11 for Wales in their contest against Liechtenstein. The 26-year-old played 64 minutes for Craig Bellamy and his team while also recording an assist to help get the scoring started in the match.
Thomas provided the assist to Leed United's Joe Rodon to give Wales the lead and break the scoreless deadlock in the 39th minute. Wales would go on to win the match 3-0 and secure all three points, which currently have them leading Group J in UEFA's qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Wales will have a challenging match on Monday to close out this June international window as they'll face Belgium, who will be looking to secure a win after their draw against North Macedonia.
