CONMEBOL: Brazil look to climb the table, 5 players with Argentina

While Brazil are no longer are in as much as danger as they had looked at points last season, there's still plenty of drama for the Auriverde and the other sides in action. Tonight's curtain-raiser sees Chile and Toulouse FC left back Gabriel Suazo travel to take on Paraguay in a vital match for the visitors who are currently outside the playoff places. Later in the evening, a Brazil side that includes in-form Lucas Perri (Olympique Lyonnais), Marquinhos (Paris Saint-Germain), and Vanderson (AS Monaco). 

On Friday, Willian Pacho (PSG) and Ecuador will take on a Venezuela side who will feature Cristián Casseres (Toulouse FC) while in the late match, five different players have been selected by Lionel Scaloni of Argentina: Nicolás Tagliafico and Thiago Almada (Lyon), Geronímo Rullí and Leo Balerdi (Marseille) and Facundo Medina (RC Lens). Argentina will face down Uruguay as they look to keep hold of top spot.

CONCACAF Nations League: Canada, US on collision course for final

While the absence of Olympique de Marseille's Amir Murillo will no doubt be a blow for Panama, two of the other four sides competing in the CONCACAF Nations League semifinals will have players from Ligue 1 McDonald's in their ranks. Canada will have LOSC Lille striker Jonathan David likely to lead the line, while a pair of defenders -- Marseille's Derek Cornelius and OGC Nice's Moïse Bombito are also in the squad and could be key for Jesse Marsch as they take on Mexico. 

Canada and Mexico will play a two-legged tie over this week, while on the either side of the bracket, the United States will take on the aforementioned Americans. Now led by former Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pocchetino, the USMNT have two Ligue 1 players in their ranks -- Toulouse FC defender Mark McKenzie and Olympique Lyonnais midfielder Tanner Tessmann.
