Franck Haise and his team are currently in an automatic Champions League spot for next season. Despite being in third place (43 points), they can easily fall out of their current position as fifth place AS Monaco (40 points) only trails them by three points.
Nice need to secure all three points against clubs in the bottom half of the team, such as ASSE, as that could be the difference whether they finish in the top four or outside of the Champions League spots. Le Gym are also currently riding a five-match unbeaten streak in Ligue 1 McDonald's and will look to extend it to six matches.
As for Saint-Étienne (19 points), they're in a relegation battle, so every point counts as they're two points above Le Havre (17 points), who are in the automatic relegation spots.
Les Verts have struggled in 2025 as they're currently on a seven-match winless streak with their last victory coming on January 4 against Stade de Reims. Saint-Étienne will have the home crowd behind them as they attempt to get their second Ligue 1 McDonald's win of the year.
Speaking of Le Havre, they'll have a tough task heading on the road to try and secure points from Lens. Le Club Doyen could climb out of the automatic relegation spot this weekend if they secure an away victory and ASSE loses at home to Nice.
Le Havre have lost their last two matches following their surprise 2-1 win over Lille, so they'll look to get back in the win column this weekend. As for Lens, the home side will be eyeing all three points as they are outside a European competition spot.
Will Still and his team (33 points) trail Olympique Lyonnais (36 points) by three points for the UEFA Europa Conference League qualification spot. Despite their hopes of playing in an international tournament next season, Lens are struggling having lost three straight matches. They'll look to snap that streak at home against Le Havre.
These two sides will use this contest as a final tune-up to prepare for their respective Champions League Round of 16 first leg contest next week. PSG are riding a nine-match win streak across all competitions and will look to extend that run when they host Les Dogues at the Parc des Princes.
After the contest with LOSC, PSG will welcome Liverpool to the French capital next week. As for Lille, they're on a two-match winning streak and have a chance to move into the top three with a win over Luis Enrique and his team, along with a Nice loss.
Lille will travel to Signal Iduna Park for a clash with Dortmund, so both the away and home side will be eyeing positive momentum heading into their first leg matches.
