Top Passeur: A badge to celebrate the assists leader

During the 2023/2024 season, the Ligue de Football Professionnel created a new concept highlighting the best Ligue 1 McDonald's attackers: the Top Scoreur.

In keeping with this innovative system, the 2024/2025 season marks the launch of the Top Passeur, an award that will highlight the artists of Ligue 1 McDonald's.

Like the Top Scorer, the Top Passeur badge will be accompanied by a code name: P1.

Once again designed by the TYRSA studio, specialized in text and visual identity, recognized for its collaborations with prestigious brands such as Dior or Louis Vuitton, but also with artists such as Childish Gambino or J.Cole.

Its innovative approach to typography promises the Top Passeur badge a unique visual identity. Referring to the P of Passeur with the number 1 hollowed out inside, this badge thus offers a double-sided reading. In addition, faithful to the creative spirit of the decisive passer, this badge escapes any constraints of form, refusing to be limited to a hexagonal frame.

Although the gold and white colors remain present as on the Top Scoreur badge, their roles are reversed. White takes over and is subtly enhanced by gold, highlighting this unique design. This inversion of colors underlines the obvious complementarity between the two badges and symbolizes the link between the passer and his scorer.

The first badge will be awarded to Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Joao Neves, currently the leader in the Ligue 1 McDonald's assists ranking with 6 assists since the start of the season. He will wear it for the first time during Ligue 1 McDonald's match day 21 during the Paris Saint-Germain - AS Monaco match. As a nod to his passer, it is Ousmane Dembélé, current Top Scorer, who will present him with this first jersey bearing the Top Passeur badge.

More than just a visual distinction on a jersey, the Top Passeur is a concept that will generate specific content and activations until the end of the season.

From this weekend, follow the race for the Top Passeur live, which promises to be very tight. In addition to the young Parisian, two players have already delivered 6 assists.
