Achraf Hakimi was in action for Morocco whilst Rennes' Alidu Seidu scored his first goal for Ghana. Our round-up of international action from Monday's games.

Africa Cup of Nations Qualifying

Morocco's contingent of Ligue 1 players, including Achraf Hakimi (PSG) and Yunis Abdelhamid (Saint-Étienne) had to wait until injury time to seal victory over Lesotho with a goal from Brahim Diaz (90+3'). Meanwhile Lamine Camara (Monaco) and Formose Mendy (Lorient) were involved in Senegal's 1-0 win over Burundi. Alidu Seidu (Rennes) and Mohamed Salisu (Monaco) started in Ghana's back line as the Rennes defender scored his first-ever goal for the Black Stars against Niger.

UEFA Nations League

Rennes centre-back Leo Østigard was involved in Norway's 2-1 win over Austria in League B which saw the Scandinavian side climb up to second in Group 3. Randal Kolo Muani (PSG) and Ousmane Dembélé (PSG) were both on target for Les Bleus against Belgium in Group A. Meanwhile, Parisian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma featured as Italy secured a vital victory over Israel (1-2) which puts the Azzurri ahead of France in Group 2 of League A at the end of the September break. 

CONCACAF Nations League

Two Ligue 2 starlets featured in Martinique's dramatic 2-2 draw against Guyana in the CONCACAF Nations League on Monday evening as Guingamp's Brighton Labeau opened the scoring just before the half-time whistle (45'+2) whilst Red Star FC midfielder Samuel Renel featured the full 90 minutes.
