LFP Media is set to broadcast every Ligue 1 McDonald’s match to its fans in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland via its streaming platform, known as the “Ligue 1 Pass”, from Friday 23rd August onwards.
Starting today, LFP Media will offer up every Ligue 1 McDonald’s match for live viewing on its streaming platform, known as the Ligue 1 Pass, to fans of Le Championnat residing in the UK and Ireland.
Following a range of constructive conversations with both free and subscription-based broadcasters in the region, LFP Media is set to test out its platform on the British market, which boasts a love for football as well as a mature OTT offering. The market is also home to the largest number of French expatriates anywhere in the world, with a community of over 140,000 people from France living there. Furthermore, LFP Media intends to collaborate with the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce & Industry in order to promote the Ligue 1 Pass to French communities in London and across England.
The Ligue 1 Pass will include Ligue 1 McDonald’s matches as well as a wide variety of original content produced specifically for the platform, plus several innovative functionalities that will be rolled out throughout the season.
In order to develop the Ligue 1 Pass, LFP Media received support from a leader of the streaming market, Endeavor Streaming, a subsidiary of the Endeavor group.
A web version of the Ligue 1 Pass will be made available this weekend, while an app version will become available across all platforms from Round 3 of the league season onwards.
