The 2005-born attacking midfielder grew up in Argentina, representing Catane FC before his move to Inter Milan. His performances in Inter's U19 side saw a growing interest in his talents, before a loan to Monza showed Carboni's promise. His first steps with Inter's senior side last season coincided with a call-up for Lionel Scaloni's Argentina national team where Carboni would make his debut in the Copa America, and win a first international medal.
The Breton side are hoping to push next season for European football, and they have boosted their defensive options with the signing of experienced Dutch defender Hans Hateboer. The 30-year-old was unveiled on Wednesday as a Rouge et Noir player, signing a two-year deal from Europa League Champions Atalanta. He played under Gian Piero Gasperini in over 245 appearances for the Lombardy side, adding a great deal of experience to the backline alongside the signing of Leo Ostigard.
