Racing Club de Strasbourg Alsace announced the signing of young Colombian winger Óscar Perea on Tuesday. Perea, who joins from Atletico Nacional, is 18 years old, but has already impressed domestically, helping his team win their domestic cup in 2023, scoring six goals and adding four assists.
A left-sided winger, Perea underscored his excitement at joining the project to the club's website, saying, "I am honored to join Racing and very excited to take on this new challenge. I have worked very hard to get here, and now I can’t wait to discover the club, the city and the region. I am ready to give my best for Racing!"
After confirming a permanent deal for Saïd Benrahma earlier in the week, Olympique Lyonnais also confirmed that the loans of winger Mama Baldé and midfielder Orel Mangala would be made permanent. Baldé, a Guinea-Bissau international, joins from ESTAC Troyes, after scoring twice and adding three assists in Ligue 1 play last year, while Mangala, who helped Belgium reach the knockout round of Euro 2024, scored twice in eight appearances for Les Gones after joining in January from Nottingham Forest.

A former Lyon player was also on the move yesterday, as midfielder Tanguy Ndombele, a seven-time French international, has joined Le Gym on a two-year deal, having spent last season at Galatasaray on loan from Tottenham Hotspur. Ndombele previously spent time in Ligue 1 with Amiens SC and Olympique Lyonnais, including a loan spell from the English club in 2022. In his loan spells with Napoli (2022-23) and in Turkey, he won league titles, and expressed his desire to join Les Aiglons to the club's website:
"As soon as they showed me the project here at Nice, I didn’t hesitate a second. I am happy and proud to have signed for Le Gym. This squad has big ambitions and I have my own goals to achieve. The team finished 5th last season and will play in the UEFA Europa League this term. I can’t wait to get to work and build something great together."
