With just two matches to go in the Ligue 1 McDonald's season, the race for the top four is tighter than ever. Here's our look at the stakes for the season's final two rounds.
Despite being pegged back in a frustrating one-all draw with Lille this weekend, Marseille still have excellent odds of reaching Europe's top competition under Roberto de Zerbi. A tricky trip to Le Havre, who held Monaco in their last home match, looms, but l'OM should have the goods to finish in the top four.
Remaining fixtures: At Le Havre, vs. Rennes
Monaco have struggled on the road in the season's second half, but will have their most challenging fixture -- against fellow European hopefuls Lyon -- at home. With Folarin Balogun back and scoring for the Monégasques, they control their own destiny and also look good value to finish in the top four.
Remaining fixtures: Vs. Lyon, at Lens

On three wins in a row thanks to Morgan Sanson rolling back the years in midfield, Nice have steadily climbed the table since a shock loss to FC Nantes a month ago. With only already-safe Rennes and Brest left to play, Les Aiglons may have the best chance of breaking into the current top three and earning direct qualification.
Remaining fixtures: At Rennes, vs. Brest
Having dealt with injuries -- and the fixture congestion of admirable performance in this year's Champions League -- Bruno Génésio's side continue to scrap for a place in the top four. A draw at home against Marseille this last weekend will have frustrated, but like many of their rivals, they'll be confident of winning both of their remaining matches.
Remaining fixtures: At Brest, vs. Reims

After becoming just the second side this season to beat Paris Saint-Germain, winning 3-1 at home on Saturday, Liam Rosenior's exciting young side have shown they're ready to play for the top four until the season's final minute. However, they have a daunting pair of matches in two teams that are battling for survival. Angers even drew the reverse fixture, a reminder that the Alsatians must not be too confident.
Remaining fixtures: At Angers, vs. Le Havre
After a heart-rending loss to Lens this weekend, Lyon's chance of finishing in the top four are all but gone. That said, owing to a strong goal difference, six points in their last two matches will certainly make things interesting, especially given the first of those is against direct rivals Monaco.
Remaining fixtures: At Monaco, vs. Angers
