The Ligue 1 McDonald's multiplex on Sunday featured three matches, with AJ Auxerre the only team to secure a win and score all the goals. Meanwhile, the other two fixtures—Stade de Reims vs. Montpellier Hérault SC and FC Nantes vs. Toulouse FC—ended in scoreless draws.

AJ Auxerre 4-0 RC Lens

AJA's three-goal first-half performance at Stade Bollaert-Delelis sealed the victory as the home side could not recover from conceding those goals.

Ado Onaiwu opened the scoring in the 33rd minute at Bollaert. Auxerre produced a very good movement as the AJA striker was found between two defenders right on the edge of offside, went one-on-one with Matthew Ryan, and finished with a perfectly executed chip.

Onaiwu's goal opened the floodgates for Auxerre as the squad found the scoring again in the 40th minute. Gaëtan Perrin doubled the lead for AJA as Lens struggled defensively to end the first half.

A poor defensive recovery allowed Lassine Sinayoko and Perrin to break through, facing a Juma Bah who was too isolated to intervene. The move was well executed, as Sinayoko perfectly set up Perrin, who cut past Ryan before finishing into the empty net.

The goal-scoring didn't stop there for the away side as Onaiwu recorded a brace minutes later to cap off the explosive end to AJA's first half.

Onaiwu scored a brace off another assist from Sinayoko. It was another poor defensive recovery from Lens, who were falling apart. Onaiwu fired his shot inside the box, it was deflected by Jonathan Gradit and ended up beating Ryan.

In the second half, AJA added a fourth in the 73rd minute as Ki-Jana Hoever kept the Auxerre momentum going, scoring his first goal for the club on a stunning curled shot inside the box.

Reims 0-0 Montpellier

Montpellier will be playing in Ligue 2 BKT next season, so the squad wants to end their run in France's top flight on a positive note but couldn't find the back of the net in their match against Reims at Stade de la Mosson.

The home side recorded 12 total shots while the visitors registered eight but neither side could break the scoreless deadlock with each squad leaving with a point. A win would've allowed Reims to distance themselves from the relegation battle but they're still five points above Le Havre, who are in the playoff relegation spot with three matchdays left in the Ligue 1 McDonald's season.

Nantes 0-0 Toulouse

Antoine Kombouaré and his team also need the points to calm any nerves about their place in Ligue 1 McDonald's next season. Nantes recorded 11 total shots while Toulouse registered six as neither squad could break the scoreless deadlock over 90 minutes.

Nantes needed the win as they are currently four points above Le Havre while Toulouse are five points from the playoff relegation spot as these two sides still have to fight to ensure that they remain in Ligue 1 McDonald's for next season.

The Stat: 8

After Florian Sotoca's red card in the 85th minute, Lens (8) became the team with the most red cards in Ligue 1 McDonald's this season, ahead of Montpellier HSC (7).
