Internationals (UEFA): Mikautadze at the double for Georgia, France stunned by Croatia

The latest round of UEFA Nations League action saw Georges Mikautadze get back on the scoring train for Georgia, whilst France were stunned by Croatia in Split. We take a look at all the international action for Ligue 1 players.

Les Bleus falter in Split

Didier Deschamps and his French National Team have an uphill battle to face after a disappointing defeat to Croatia following two first-half goals from Ante Budimir and Ivan Perešić. PSG's Ousmane Dembélé started in attack, whilst Olympique de Marseille midfielder Adrien Rabiot was back in the starting XI in the middle of the park. A debut for PSG man Désiré Doué will still have to wait, whilst Bradley Barcola had some minutes off the bench. 

Mikautadze and Davitashvili feature in dominant Georgia win

Olympique Lyonnais attacker Georges Mikautadze and Saint-Étienne man Zuriko Davitashvili both started for Georgia in their dominant 3-0 play-off win over Armenia in the Nations League. In the absence of PSG star Kvicha Kvaratskhelia who was suspended, The Crusaders were helped by a brace from Georges Mikautadze either side of half-time to secure a first-leg lead over the Armenians. The return leg will see the winners stay in League B, whilst the losers go to league C. 

Biereth features as Denmark edge Portugal 

AS Monaco man Mika Biereth featured for Denmark, who were without Olympique de Marseille man Pierre-Emile Højbjerg due to injury but came away with a 1-0 win over a star-laden Portugal outfit. PSG trio Joao Neves, Nuno Mendes, and Vitinha all started for the away side who fell to defeat following Rasmus Højlund's late goal.
