Ligue 1 McDonald's will have three thrilling matchups on Saturday as Stade Rennais welcome Paris Saint-Germain, LOSC Lille host Montpellier HSC, and RC Lens travel for a clash with Olympique de Marseille.
Here's a full preview to get you ready for these three exciting matches.
The Parisians will look for a bounce-back win after their 1-0 loss – their first defeat since November– to Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League this week. Luis Enrique and his team will be looking to also build positive momentum heading into the return leg of their Round of 16 tie against the Reds next week at Anfield.
Although getting a road win over Rennes, who have won four of their first five matches under new manager Habib Beye, will be challenging. Since Beye's arrival, the 47-year-old has steered the club away from a relegation battle and they'll look to continue this impressive run against the capital club.
Another team featured in the Champions League this week as Lille secured a one-all draw against Borussia Dortmund. LOSC are unbeaten in three of their last four matches across all competitions, so they'll look to continue this impressive run against Montpellier and build positive momentum heading into the second leg against the German side next week.
Montpellier are in a direct relegation spot (15 points) and are five points away from the playoff relegation spot currently occupied by Le Havre (20 points). After winning back-to-back matches in January, Montpellier have lost five straight games, so they will be looking to snap this run.
Will Still and his team need a win to keep themselves in the race for a European competition spot for next season. Lens (33 points) trail Olympique Lyonnais (39 points) by six points and it's due to their recent form as they have lost four straight Ligue 1 McDonald's matches that have seen them fall behind.
Marseille are another team fighting for a European competition spot as they currently occupy second place in the table (49 points), but it's a tight race for the automatic Champions League spots for next season. OM must keep winning to create distance between themselves and fourth-place AS Monaco (43 points).
