The draw for the Champions League play-offs took place last Friday and resulted in a duel between two Ligue 1 McDonald’s clubs, and it's not a first…
So, it's PSG-Brest in the next round! The play-offs -- one of the new features of the new Champions League format -- are now set. Another is the possibility for clubs from the same country to face each other from the start of the final phase, including during the play-offs.
Set for February 11 and 12 for the first legs and February 18 and 19 for the second the play-offs will pit Paris Saint-Germain against Stade Brestois 29. The PSG-Brest confrontation will be the sixth in history between two French clubs in the final phase of the European Cup, the second in the Champions League.
