Luis Enrique and Paris Saint-Germain can breathe a sigh of relief, after their historic win against Manchester City Les Parisiens followed it up with a dominant display against Stuttgart (3-0) thanks to goals from Bradley Barcola and a brace from Ousmane Dembélé.
Bradley Barcola opened the scoring early on with a corner whipped in by Dembélé. It's played in at the near post and Doué turns the ball over without skipping, sending it in at the far post. Barcola popped up and tapped into an empty net (6'). It was the perfect start for Les Parisiens, but Gianluigi Donnarumma had to be on hand to save a vital chance from Fuhrich.
It would prove to be even more vital when Paris managed to double their lead only a minute later, when Barcola was played through the ball in behind. His cross to Dembélé was ideal and the Frenchman managed to sweep home into an empty net (17'). After a VAR check the goal was given, and Luis Enrique's men started to look comfortable knowing they were doing all they can to qualify for the next stage of the UEFA Champions League.
It got better before the second half as Dembélé grabbed another goal for the Rouge et Bleu. This time the tricky winger found himself on the right side of the box, and he unleashed an unstoppable strike into the far corner of the net (35'). At the halftime whistle things were looking rosy for Les Parisiens, and it would only get better in the second half. Ousmane Dembélé would grab his hat trick when Achraf Hakimi fed him a ball on the edge of the box and he swept home with a first-time finish (53').
However, the Germans would get one goal back as the second half wore on, as Willian Pacho turned the ball into the back of his own net and PSG lost their clean sheet that they had defended well before that point (77'). Les Parisiens saw out the result for three points which saw them qualify for the UCL playoffs.
Ousmane Dembélé is the top scorer with a top five European club with eight goals in 2025, on par with Kylian Mbappé (Real Madrid) and Lautaro Martinez (Inter Milan).
