The top athletic performances from Ligue 1 McDonald's clubs

Which team covers the most distance per match? Which one racks up the most sprints? Find out which clubs have delivered the best physical performances after 15 matchdays in Ligue 1 McDonald's.

With the year-end break upon us, it's a good time to take a look at the athletic performances of Ligue 1 McDonald's top teams. Leading the pack in the distance covered per match are RC Lens, managed by Will Still. The northern club's players average 113.26 kilometers per game.

Close behind RC Lens are their neighbors, LOSC Lille, with 112.54 kilometers per match. Ligue 1 McDonald's leader Paris Saint-Germain come in third with 112.5 km. On the other end of the spectrum, Montpellier Hérault SC, sitting at the bottom of the table, rank last in this category with 105.13 kilometers.

Olympique de Marseille, under manager Roberto De Zerbi, and AS Monaco, led by Adi Hütter, also cover the least distance, with averages of 108.1 km for OM and 106.26 km for ASM.

RC Lens leads in sprints per match

When it comes to sprints per match, RC Lens are once again at the top. Kevin Danso and his teammates average 162.64 sprints per game. AS Monaco follows with 153.27 sprints, showing a preference for high-intensity runs despite covering less distance overall.

RC Strasbourg Alsace, coached by Liam Rosenior, round out the top three with 148.27 sprints. At the bottom of the list, Montpellier Hérault SC (120.8 sprints), Angers SCO (117.93 sprints), and Le Havre AC (109.2 sprints) are the least active.

Olympique de Marseille also appear near the bottom with an average of 123.93 sprints per match, while PSG sit in fifth place with 141.6 sprints.
