OGC Nice beaten convincingly by Rangers at home.

Les Aiglons fell to defeat against Glasgow Rangers in the UEFA Europa League.

Franck Haise's side hosted Scottish side Rangers at the Allianz Riviera and fell to their third defeat in their Europa League campaign. Václav Cerny opened the scoring for the away side before Mohamed Diomandé doubled only minutes later. Hamza Igmame added a third just before the half-time whistle before Igmane secured his brace in the second half.

Rangers proved to be the dominant force in the first half, finally scoring in the 35th minute after a sustained period of pressure. It was Cerny that squeezed in the first goal, with Igamane beating Abdelmonem in a duel and passing to the Czech international - who finished with a deflected effort off two Nice players (35'). Mohamed Diomandé then doubled the lead for the Scottish side, profiting off a mix-up in the Aiglons' defence by Rosario and Bulka. The Frenchman's back pass wasn't strong enough and Ivoirien simply finished into an open net (38').

It would get worse for the Côte d'Azur hosts, with the Gers scoring a third goal against Nice. It was another error by the Niçois defence, once again Abdelmonem with a back pass, and Igamane dribbling past the Nice keeper and taking his time to finish in front of goal (45+4'). It then turned nightmarish for the hosts, with Igmane securing his brace (54').  A triple sub would come for Franck Haise's side, with Mohamed Ali-Cho, Iliesse Salhi, and Evann Guessand coming on. Nice would get one back via Badredine Bouanani's powerfully-hit free-kick (83') but it wouldn't be enough for the hosts to get anything out of the game.
