Non-compliance
Several non-compliance elements are described in this document, some of which recur on multiple pages:
• Some informative images do not have textual alternatives.
• Some decorative images are not ignored by a screen reader.
• Some textual alternatives for informative images are not relevant.
• Some information is conveyed by color alone.
• Some texts have insufficient contrast with their background.
• The title and context of some links do not clarify their function or destination.
• Some links have no title.
• Some scripts are not compatible with screen readers.
• Some scripts are not controllable via the keyboard.
• Some status messages are not correctly rendered by screen readers.
• Some pages have invalid source code: writing rules, opening, closing, and nesting of elements, uniqueness of id attributes.
• The title of some pages is not relevant.
• On some pages, the information is not appropriately structured using headings (h1, h2, etc.).
• On some pages, the document structure is not consistent (landmark regions).
• Some lists are not properly marked as such.
• Some information disappears when CSS is disabled.
• Some text becomes unreadable when the font size is increased to 200%.
• Some CSS declarations for background and font color are missing.
• On some elements, the focus is not visible during keyboard navigation.
• Some information is conveyed only by shape, size, or position.
• Part of the content is hidden when the screen width is 320 px. • Changing text spacing properties hides content or deteriorates functionality.
• Some form fields do not provide suggestions for correcting input errors.
• Some pages do not offer at least two navigation systems (menu, sitemap, search...).
• Some page regions are not marked as such.
• Some pages do not have a direct link to the main content.
• In some pages, the tab order is not consistent.
